Justin Ashley Racing, Phillips Connect Team up with Wyakin Foundation to Support Veterans

PLAINVIEW, NY (October 26, 2022) — Championship contending NHRA Top Fuel driver, Justin Ashley along with primary sponsor Phillips Connect are teaming up with the Wyakin Foundation in the weeks leading up to Veteran’s Day to raise money and honor our servicemen and servicewomen. In honor of Veterans Day, the Phillips Family and Justin Ashley Racing are hosting a raffle in support of all the brave men and women who risked their lives for our freedom. Through the Wyakin Foundation, an organization that helps connect wounded and injured veterans to successful and fulfilling civilian futures, donations are now being accepted that will provide those the chance to win various prizes, not to mention the biggest prize of all – helping Wyakin onboard a new veteran into its life-changing program.

“We are honored that Justin and Phillips Connect have selected the Wyakin Foundation for their Racing for Warriors campaign especially on Veteran’s Day. Justin has been instrumental in advocating for our veterans, making him a leader on and off the track,” said Cory Rodriguez, Executive Director Wyakin Foundation. “Rob Phillips has been a foundational supporter of Wyakin since our inception. Rob has gone above and beyond to promote the success of veterans in general and at the Wyakin Foundation. As a non-profit that supports veterans across the United States, the recognition that Justin and Phillips Connect brings to our Foundation puts veteran advocacy at the forefront of people’s minds. We are grateful to Justin, his team, Rob Phillips, and all the great people at Phillips Connect.”

“I have always deeply resonated with Wyakin’s mission, and to be given the chance to help them reach more veterans is really exciting,” said founder and CEO, Rob Phillips. “Our military men and women put their lives on the line to protect our freedom. This donation program gives us the opportunity to serve our veterans in return.”

“We’re proud to be working with the Wyakin Foundation and are thrilled about the launch of Racing for Warriors leading up to the NHRA Auto Club Finals,” said Justin Ashley, the Top Fuel points leader. “Phillips Connect has been a long-time supporter of veterans and the work that the Wyakin Foundation is doing is so important to the health and stability of our veterans. We have some great prizes available to everyone that donates.”
