Position Purpose & Focus

Phillips Connect seeks a highly motivated and experienced Director of Solutions Architecture to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based solutions. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver modern data platforms, cloud architectures, AI/ML capabilities, integrations, and mobile applications, primarily within the AWS ecosystem.

The Director will define and guide enterprise architecture strategy while driving operational excellence, innovation, scalability, performance, and security across all cloud servicing applications. This role plays a critical part in aligning technology solutions with business objectives through close collaboration with business leaders, product teams, and engineering organizations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and lead architecture for complex systems, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, performant, and aligned with business needs.
• Provide technical ownership for 24×7 cloud services, including platform uptime, availability, reliability, and operational stability.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, future-state technology strategy, and application modernization and migration plans.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, security, and technology standards and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, product managers, architects, and customer application teams to deliver high-quality application solutions.
• Lead and participate in production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution planning.
• Partner with third-party vendors to develop, integrate, and deploy software solutions.
• Research, evaluate, and propose AWS-based solutions for data transformation, integration, operational frameworks, and application connectivity.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience:

• 8+ years of progressive experience leading IT solutions, projects, and teams with increasing responsibility

• Knowledge & Skills:

• Proven expertise in solution and enterprise architecture for complex, large-scale systems
• Strong AWS knowledge and hands-on experience; AWS certification preferred
• Full-stack architecture experience including:
  • Cloud-native application architecture
  • Microservices ecosystems
  • APIs and API Gateway
  • UI, API, and full-stack design patterns
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related open-source technologies
• Familiarity with JSON, REST, and XML-based web services
• Strong understanding of:
  • Machine learning and AI concepts
  • Data analytics and visualization
  • Event-driven architectures
• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure including load balancers, cloud networks, and virtual servers

Reporting

• This position reports to the Chief Information Officer and works closely with the Customer Success team, Engineering and the broader leadership team to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer outcomes. This role manages 2-4 technical team members.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a combination of environments, including home office, company facilities, customer sites, and travel locations. The role involves frequent collaboration, in-person and virtual meetings, and standard computer-based work. Travel by car, train, or plane may be required. Position Purpose & Focus

The Sales Executive at Phillips Connect is responsible for driving revenue growth for our Smart Fleet Solutions by developing new business and expanding relationships with fleet management companies, trucking companies, and other targeted customers. This role requires a proactive, results-driven approach to prospecting, opportunity development, and relationship management with key decision-makers.

This position is highly performance-oriented and requires a motivated, self-directed professional with a strong customer focus and a proven ability to execute in a growth environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for Phillips Connect’s Smart Fleet Solutions.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and industry engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding customer needs and operational challenges to position Phillips Connect as a trusted solutions partner.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proposal development to clearly communicate value, differentiation, and ROI.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, customer success, and support teams to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and long-term customer satisfaction.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments to identify risks, opportunities, and growth strategies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for leadership review.
• Analyze customer feedback and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities that inform product development and go-to-market strategy.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in transportation, logistics, SaaS, IoT, or technology-driven industries.
• Experience with IoT, telematics, or connected fleet technologies is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a performance-driven environment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools (Salesforce preferred).
• Knowledge of the transportation industry, trailer telematics, and sensor technologies is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required to support customer engagement and industry events.

Reporting

• This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and works closely with the Customer Success team and the broader sales organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer outcomes. This role is nonsupervisory and does not have any subordinates.

Commission Plan

This role includes a base salary and commission-based incentive program (details outlined in a separate compensation plan document).

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote and performed from a home office environment. The position routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and related technology.

Periodic visits to company facilities and customer sites may be required. These environments may include light manufacturing and operational settings where appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, may be required. Employees are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures applicable to these environments.

Phillips Connect is looking for a resourceful, people-first Office Coordinator to keep our office running smoothly. You’ll be the first face employees and guests see, the person who keeps things organized behind the scenes, and the steady hand vendors and building management know they can count on. 

Key Responsibilities 

Office Operations & Front Desk 

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests, setting a warm and welcoming tone from the moment they walk in. 

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; manage outgoing shipments. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment, including office supply inventory and reordering as needed, balancing cost and quality. 

• Order and manage kitchen supplies, snacks, beverages, and catering for team events. 

• Coordinate with building management and facility vendors for maintenance, repairs, and services. 

• Act as a go-to resource for employees with questions about office policies, vendors, and everyday needs. 

• Assist the leadership team with expense report processing and receipt organization as needed. 

Employee Relations & Engagement 

• Partner with HR and leadership to plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team events, milestone celebrations, and company-wide gatherings. 

• Onboard new hires from a facilities perspective, including desk setup, access badges, office orientation, and day-one readiness. 

What We’re Looking For 

• Two or more years of experience in an office coordination, facilities coordination, or operations role, with fewer years considered for the right candidate. 

• Comfort coordinating with building management, vendors, and service providers to keep an office running smoothly. 

• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through. 

• Warm, professional communication style, equally comfortable with an intern or a member of the leadership team. 

• Proactive and solutions-oriented: you anticipate needs before they become problems. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel). 

• Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive or confidential information. 

Nice to Have 

• Familiarity with vendor negotiation and facilities coordination. 

• Experience in a technology, manufacturing, or engineering-focused company.
